Welsh_Witch aka Rhiannon, has been a stardoll member for over 4 years. So she's seen it all. Currently she is on the famous stardoll gossip blog PSG (Perez Hilton of Stardoll). With her most recent post being written about another famous stardollian 'Tylerisbold'.
Supa (me): Do you consider yourself an elite? (saying yes does not make you arrogant)
WW: Honestly, no! I've thought for a while that the whole term 'elite' needs to be thrown away, because it's just being applied to everything these days. It's lost all meaning.
Supa: In the eyes of most people you are an elite, what do you think what your 'big break' or 'gig' that gave you that status ?
WW: Thank you! I guess it was the amazing success of my dearly departed solo blog, Stardoll According To Rhiann. It was one of the first blogs to be about news and opinions, rather than gossip, so I guess that's why so many people were able to get on board with it. I still can't believe how much it changed my Stardoll life!.
Supa: You write for PSG, are you good friends with Perez ?
WW: Perez and I are pretty good friends - she's hilarious and so friendly, exactly how she comes across when she blogs. I owe her so much!
Supa: How did you meet Perez ?
WW: I met Perez purely by accident. I was trawling round a few people's profiles and saw her username in the 'Latest Visitors' section on someone's page. I was a fan of the real life Perez Hilton, so requested her because of that. A few days later, she launched the blog and the rest is history!
Supa: Do you have any advice to bloggers out there trying to make a status you have?
WW: My advice to bloggers is to really let your personality shine through. Use slang like you'd use it in real life, use all your little catchphrases. Nothing turns off a reader like feeling they are being spoken to by a robot.
Supa: Your a gossip writer correct? Where do you look for gossip ?
WW: I wouldn't really consider myself a gossip writer. Most of the time big stories fall right into my Mailbox, but otherwise I tend to look for up-and-coming projects that I think will be huge.
Supa: What is your favorite thing about stardoll ?
WW: My favourite thing about Stardoll is this whole 'celeb' culture that we, the members, have created. There are just so many opportunities to be creative - magazines, blogs, fashion lines, it's so easy to be inspired by other people.
Supa: Is there a meaning behind your name? What is it ?
WW: 'Welsh_Witch' is based on my real name, Rhiannon. Rhiannon is a song by Stevie Nicks, and at the beginning she says that 'this is a song about a welsh witch'. So that's what my mom's always called me!
Supa: Describe yourself in 3 sentences .
WW: I'm open-minded, I love learning new things about new people. I live with my headphones in.
I find inspiration in the strangest places.
