Stardoll Hour- Stardoll ....... ?

Hello readers/writers! I just wanted to update you all on everything...

Today I talked to my fellow owner, Yissy123, and guess what we talked about? YOU! And by you, I mean Stardoll Hour. Many of you noticed we haven't been active at ALL in the past couple of weeks, and Renata even put up a survey (which was an amazing idea).  I also got very many complains about the quality of the posts, and I have to agree! Lately, you writers fail to interest me, and a lot of other people. Of course, I'm still very proud of some writers, but my 'honorable mention' goes to our fashion guru, Fionak20! Fiona's posts are always so well written, and her work is original and just... WOW! 

Well, getting back to what Dani and I discussed, we thought of this: There are hundreds of Stardoll update blogs all over the web. Why would people read SDH when they have blogs like USD, ISD, SMW, ect? 

I think they wouldn't. The only reason I know some members occasionally visit our site is because some of the creative segments and posts we have. Not for the freebies, new doll posts, but for the originality and fun.

So we thought, since we are already getting a makeover (the reason I'm not using my banner), why not modify the whole concept of SDH!? We even thought of changing the name of the blog... BUT, of course we couldn't do that without asking our writers, followers, and haters what they would think about it. So, there are these options that we were considering:

• We are no longer a news blog, we will only be posting about thoughts, gossip, fashion, and anything but updates and freebies. We will post once a month about hotbuys. Writers will have the freedom of posting about absolutely anything!
• We will be a gossip/lifestyle/news blog.
• We will remain a news blog, and no gossip rule will still apply. Everything remains as it is, except some writers will be fired and some hired.

Now, we have to get some opinions regarding the writers. (You don't have to comment right in this post, you can doll-mail me, and I will try to get a survey up). Please choose one writer that you like best, and two writers that you dislike most. All writers have to vote, otherwise it's an automatic vote (down) for yourself.
